Site Conditions & Challenges
The installation required careful planning due to multiple roof faces, ensuring each array was optimized for sun exposure throughout the day. Fishing the wiring cleanly and sub-feeding the existing 100A house panel from the new 200A garage panel was a key part of the design, giving the homeowner full capacity for present and future loads.
Electrical Upgrades
As part of the project, we upgraded the service to 200 amps using the existing underground conductors in coordination with ENMAX. A new 200A panel was installed in the garage, which now sub-feeds the original 100A panel in the house. This setup allows for efficient distribution of power while leaving room for further electrification down the road.

This Springbank solar project took advantage of multiple incentives:
- Canada Greener Homes Grant
- Greener Homes Loan
- Solar Club membership for better energy rates
- Solar Offset program eligibility
Combined with an expected 16,913 kWh of production in the first year, the system is designed to eliminate the homeowner’s power bills and lock in long-term savings.
Customer Story
As a past
EV Charger customer, the homeowner already trusted our work. With rising utility costs and the demand of an electric vehicle, solar was the natural next step. By reusing the existing underground conductors and upgrading to 200 amps, we ensured their home is set up for both efficiency today and expansion tomorrow.
